Finally back from Thailand... At first i thought i was going to Vietnam...cause i thought that they were the same place. They do sound kinda of the same language u noe. So after i got there, it kinda hit me that it wasnt the same country after all.
Anyway, I stayed there for a total of 4 full days. First day, took a plane there...duh... I went to this island called Koh Samui or sth. The airport was really really small...u kinda could walk from one end to the other in less than 15mins. Reached the hotel at around 11+ so this day doesnt count.
Next day, went to the beach just for the heck of it. It was high tide at the time...didnt noe that during high tide the water would rise all the way up around 10m as compared to low tide so i kinda got wet. Went to wander the streets after bathing n getting the sand outta my pants. The streets were like singapore 30yrs ago...or so my dad claims. The coke n the spite came in those glass bottles n lotsa street vendors roamed the...well...streets. Went to a 7-eleven there (yes there r 7-elevens there...was kinda attracted to it) to get a super big gulp...the size of it is like our big gulp size.
2nd day. Fishing trip...lol. I really gotta say...im really not cut out for really long boat rides in choppy seas. Got a little bit seasick after an hr out at sea. Felt better after a while n continued fishing though. The final fishing result after 6hrs of fishing was...well...zero. Didnt catch anything at all...fishermen said that it was a bad day...even though they were like continuously reeling in fishes. To make up for it, ate seafood at a nearby restaurant...sweet sweet revenge.
3rd day...walked around the streets once again...this time for almost the whole day. Feet hurt by the time I got back from it. Ate this food called paht thai which tasted really nice.
On the 4th day,my sis loved the paht thai so much that she kept ordering it for every meal. Parents went to swim in the pool at the hotel so i watched tv for the rest of the day. Checked out at 3.30 to get to the airport. Left for here n here i am.
Just came back from the airport 30mins ago...still have lotsa time before i slp. Nah...maybe i'll just slp now.
